A RowAlong Adventure

In an attempt to try to make your time spent on the rowing machine a little more fun, I’ve started to create an alternative approach to my RowAlong workouts.
Instead of a focus on technique and performance, with this series of videos and podcasts, I just take you through an adventure story, like flying through space, or sailing down the Amazon. And as you go through your adventure, as ‘things’ happen – I’ll ask you to speed up or slow down your rowing.

These RowAlong workouts are aimed more at the gym user or new rower who’s looking for something a little more entertaining that me talking about technique and motivation for 30 minutes! So they’re shorter, and hopefully a lot more fun, which I hope will distract you, but still give you a great workout.
Ideal if you’ve got kids who want to row, but you don’t want to bore them with traditional rowing sessions or training plans!
All you need is a rowing machine – it doesn’t matter what kind – and something to watch or listen to the Adventure with. I do give a brief overview of technique – and then it’s down to you to work out how hard to row as I ask you to go slow / fast / sprint.
